Description Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 / 7.2.4 / 11.2 / 11.4 Speaker Wall Plate (back box included) A Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 speaker wall plate is available in the following decorative finishes Frosted White Plastic Frosted Black Plastic 7.1.4 / 7.2.4 / 11.2 / 11.4 Surround Sound Speaker Wall Plate As Standard the speaker plate comes with 11 pairs of gold-plated binding posts (solder free installation) these also accept 4mm banana plugs and bare cable. Featuring two gold-plated subwoofer RCA sockets, which have RCA phono sockets on the front and back. Making this plate suitable for Dolby 11.2 / 11.4 & Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 and 7.2.4 speaker systems. There is also an option to upgrade this plate with a further two subwoofers sockets making it suitable for a 7.4.4 system. We also provide a gold-plated 90 degree RCA coupler for each subwoofer socket to be used on the back of the plates to aid with installation. This plate is designed to be used with a standard UK 8 gang grid steel back box and one is included with this plate along with rubber grommets. This speaker plate is the main speaker plate; all the 7.1.4, 7.2.4 , 7.4.4, 11.2 or 11.4 Dolby Atmos home cinema system. All the surround sound and Atmos speakers link back to it along with the subwoofers. Usually located behind the AV receiver, it makes connecting to the speaker’s much easier and more organised. This plate is available in an extensive range of decorative finishes, and custom orders are welcome. The 22 speaker posts and two subwoofer sockets are mounted on a 146mm x146mm plate and all connections are identical on both the front and back. On the plastic plates all connections are recessed into the front of the plate. All connectors on custom metal plates are insulated using our own black nylon insulating bushes. We also supply four brass screws and four steel screws with each plate. A 7.2.4 / 11.2 speaker plate is an excellent way to provide a professional connection between the AV receiver and Atmos speakers when the abling is permanently installed within the walls. They offer a dedicated point of connection, making future upgrades of the speakers or home cinema AV receiver easy. All our speaker plates are handmade in the UK to order, in addition to the basic customisation options available above we can also design and manufacture custom speaker plates if needed.
