The grommet accept cables up to 15mm in diameter. This plate is ideal for speaker that are mounted close to the wall and are a great way of tidying up cables. The cable simply exits the wall plate and plugs directly into your speaker. Its a much neater solution than a brushed plate or a holed left in the wall behind the speaker. The white rubber grommet is recessed on a single gang plate. This plate will fit any standard UK architrave back box and come complete with a pair of screws. Speaker plates are a great way of providing a professional connection between the AV receiver and speakers when the cabling is permanently installed within the walls. They provide a dedicated point of connection, making future upgrades of the speakers or home cinema AV receiver easy.
