This is a complete Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 speaker plate set in matching plain white plates. Made for a 5.1.2 Atmos surround sound system, the set consists of X1 double gang 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos plate, X2 single gang dual speaker wall plates, X3 architrave speaker plates and X1 architrave subwoofer plate. The speaker plates are all equipped with gold-plated speaker binding posts that also accept 4mm banana plugs. The more compact design of the architrave plates makes them useful for smaller surround sound speakers. The main plate has seven pairs of speaker posts and a subwoofer socket. Each of the three single speaker architrave wall plates has a pair of speaker posts. The single gang dual speaker plates have two pairs of speaker posts, for use with forward-facing Atmos speakers. The subwoofer plate has a single gold-plated phono connector for line-level active subwoofers. Speaker plates are used in professional audio installations where all the cabling is hidden inside the walls. The speaker plates provide a professional connection point for all the surround sound speakers and the amplifier. The speaker plates and subwoofer plate are all cabled from the speaker locations to the main plate, which is located behind the AV receiver. They provide a dedicated point of connection, making future upgrades of the speakers or home cinema AV receiver easy.
