Description White 7.1 Single Gang Speaker Wall Plate Set This is a complete 7.1 speaker plate set in matching plain white plates. Made for a Dolby 7.1 surround sound system, the set consists of X1 double gang 7.1 main plate, X7 single gang speaker plates and X1 single gang subwoofer plate. The speaker plates are all equipped with gold-plated speaker binding posts, which also accept 4mm banana plugs. The main plate has seven pairs of speaker posts and a subwoofer socket. Each of the seven single speaker wall plates has a pair of speaker posts. The subwoofer plate has a single gold-plated phono connector for line-level active subwoofers. Speaker plates are used in professional audio installations where all the cabling is hidden inside the walls. The speaker plates provide a professional connection point for all the surround sound speakers and the amplifier. The single gang speaker plates and subwoofer plate are all cabled from the speaker locations to the main 7.1 plate, which is located behind the AV receiver. They provide a dedicated point of connection, making future upgrades of the speakers or home cinema AV receiver easy. All our speaker plates are handmade in the UK to order, and we also provide custom speaker plates if needed.
