Description Future Automation EAD-S Motorised Advance, Drop & Rotate TV Mount The Future Automation EAD-S is a variation on the EAD advance and drop tv bracket. It provides an innovative solution to a common issue when wall mounting larger TVs above a fireplace or in a media wall. In most scenarios, the TV looks great above the fire, but it is too high when you want to watch the TV, or the screen ends up nearly touching the ceiling. The EAD-S advance drop & rotate TV mount electronically extends the TV outward to clear the mantlepiece or recess, then drops it down to a more comfortable viewing height. From there, the EAD-S then provides up to 45 degrees of rotation in either direction for the perfect viewing angle. The EAD-S rotating advance & drop TV mount is capable of holding a flat screen TV up to 80″. Provided with a universal TV mounting plate supporting a maximum VESA 600W x 500H (adaptor plates are available if needed). This EAD-S can also lower and rotate a sound bar along with the TV. We stock the full range of Future Automation Sound Bar brackets that are compatible with this product. The Future Automation EAD-S can support a total combined weight of up to 60KG. Complete with a pair of removable magnetic covers that hide the wall plate and fixings, keeping the EAD-S looking its best even when extended. The EAD-S also features a 3-degree manual vertical tilt adjustment to accommodate any discrepancies in the wall when mounted. The Future Automation EAD-S gracefully lowers your TV in front of the fireplace. Combining a vibration-free, near-silent motor system with all-metal gears that minimise wear, extending the service life. The EAD extends outward 557mm and lowers 537mm, allowing it to easily lower a TV past a mantelpiece. Once lowered, the EAD-S can provide up to 45 degrees bidirectional rotation, depending on the screen size. For instance, 42 degrees rotation for a 55″ TV, or 35 degrees for a 65″ TV, or 30 degrees for a 75″ TV. A whole cable management route is provided through the mechanism, allowing TV cabling to be safely secured whilst the EAD-S is in operation. An IR remote is included, along with a control box that supports RS-232 and contact closure, allowing for seamless integration with most home automation control systems. Also available is an RF remote option, which will enable the lift to operate remotely out of line of sight. This is a handy addition if the unit is being used as a standalone system or not integrated into a control system. The EAD-S can be recessed into the wall using the WB-EAD-S wall box, which allows the mount to retract back into the box so the TV sits flush within the wall when closed. This is ideal for customers who want all the benefits of the EAD but prefer a no-gap installation.
