Description Future Automation EAD Advance & Drop TV Wall Mount The Future Automation EAD is another innovative solution to a common problem: wall mounting larger TVs above a fireplace or in a media wall. In a lot of cases, the TV looks great above the fire, but it is too high for comfortable viewing, or it’s just a large TV and ends up nearly touching the ceiling. The EAD advance and drop TV mount electronically pushes the TV out from the wall to clear the mantlepiece or recess, then lowers it to a more comfortable viewing height. Perfect if you have a grand fireplace and want to lower your TV when you’re watching it. They also work well in media walls where the TV is mounted high, and provide easy access to any auxiliary equipment stowed behind the TV. The EAD advance & drop TV bracket is designed to accommodate flat screen TVs up to 80″. It comes with a universal TV mounting plate. Supporting maximum VESA 600W x 500H, adaptor plates are available if needed. This motorised TV mount can be used to lower a sound bar along with the TV. Future Automation has a full range of Sound Bar brackets that are compatible here. The Future Automation EAD can support a total combined weight of up to 60KG. A set of removable magnetic covers is provided to hide the wall plate and fixings, providing a neat finish, even when extended. The EAD also features a 3-degree vertical tilt adjustment within the mount, allowing for fine-tuning of any discrepancies in the wall during installation. The Future Automation EAD effortlessly and elegantly lowers your TV in front of the fireplace. It combines a near-silent motor system with all-metal gears that minimise wear, extending the service life, and providing a smooth, vibration-free motion. The EAD extends outward 557mm and lowers 537mm, allowing it to easily lower a TV past a mantelpiece. A whole cable management route is provided through the mechanism, allowing TV cabling to be safely secured whilst the EAD is in operation. An IR remote is included, along with a control box that supports RS-232 and contact closure, allowing for seamless integration with most home automation control systems. Also available is an RF remote option, which will allow the lift to operate remotely out of line of sight. This is a handy addition if the unit is being used as a standalone system or not integrated into a control system. The EAD can be recessed into the wall using the WB-EAD wall box, which allows the mount to retract back into the box so the TV sits flush within the wall when closed. This is ideal for customers who want all the benefits of the EAD but are seeking a no-gap installation. Click for more info on the WB-EAD. We also provide an EAD with additional rotation once the TV is lowered.
