Description Future Automation PLF Out Of Floor TV Lift Mechanism The Future Automation PLF lift mechanism is designed to allow users to hide their TV in the floor when not in use. With the press of a button, a custom flap retracts into the floor and rolls out of the way. The TV then smoothly rises out of the floor on a beautiful stainless steel pole. A base plate raises with the TV and fills the hole in the floor. They are made to order for your specific screen size, ranging from 32″ to 85″. This helps to keep the built-in height required in the floor to a minimum for your screen size. The PLF out of the Floor TV Lift is supplied in two parts. An electric flap mechanism which operates the lid and the primary lift mechanism for lifting the TV. They are custom-made to order for your screen, available in sizes ranging from 32″ to 85″. Future Automations’ unique drop roll lid can be walked over when the TV is hidden in the floor. The action is smooth, quiet, and controlled via a remote control or a third-party control system. The out-of-floor TV lift comes complete with a cable management system for safely routing all the cables. Additional information on the floor TV lift The PLF-DRL & PLF-BE TV lifts come complete with an IR remote and can be controlled by RS232, contact closure, making it fully compatible with home automation control systems. Also available is an RF remote option, which will allow the lift to operate remotely out of line of sight. This is a handy addition if the unit is being used as a standalone without a control system. The design of the PLF TV lift truly offers a significant wow factor and is genuinely one of the most luxurious solutions for concealing a flat-screen TV. They are perfect if your house has an existing cellar or can be lowered from upstairs down into a custom-made cabinet. If you have nowhere else to hide a flat screen, lifting a TV out of the floor could be a solution for you. The Lift and lid mechanisms both need to be recessed into a waterproof enclosure within the floor, along with the control box.
