Description These Ammonia test strips are designed for aquarium water testing, where elevated levels of ammonia are dangerous for aquatic species. The strips are ideal to test for tank contaminants in aquariums and will detect the presence of ammonification from protein degradation. The chart reads 0-6ppm: 0ppm being ideal, 0.5 to 1ppm being stressed and 3-6ppm being dangerous. The unique construction of the strip reduces, and in some cases eliminates, the potential for many interferences, such as CN-, Fe, Mn, Ca, etc. The strip has a unique construction and is composed of two filter pads to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. The results are expressed as ppm Ammonia-Nitrate (NH3-N). Contains: 25 strips How to Use: Dip the test strip into water sample for 5 seconds, then remove. Wait 1 minute, then match colour change to closest colour on colour chart. Total Test time: 1 minute and 5 seconds   General description: For semi-quantitative determinations. Detection method: colorimetric. Fast, simply dip and read indicator paper. Consists of a plastic strip with attached sealed test paper. Compare colour change of test paper with fields of equal size on colour chart provided on plastic box. Please note:  Store in a cool, dry place (between 20- 30°C) and away from excess heat and direct sunlight. Keep away from children and pets. Avoid contact of test areas on strips with skin & eyes, do not ingest or expose to acids. Do not touch test pad.
